As always, denim is a huge summer staple, but this time, the light washes and looser fits are taking over. But don’t choose a wash that’s too light or you risk losing your casual-cool appeal. A good medium-light tone should fit the bill. Yes, you’re paying for a look that’s broken-in and faded, but it’s worth it when the lightweight feel is buttery soft against your skin. Besides, denim is one thing you can splurge on without feeling guilty. Opt for the higher-end brands like 7 For All Mankind or Diesel for jeans that are built to last more than one season. If you’re really feeling the trend, try doubling up on denim. Pair a washed denim jacket with your favorite distressed jeans, broken up with a plain tee and a pair of polished leather oxfords.

Spring Break is just around the corner and, chances are, you’re either itching to escape school for one week or you’re simply getting desperate for a sunny vacation. That’s why Cancun, Miami and Las Vegas are some of the most popular destinations.
So when is Spring Break this year? In the U.S., state universities start Spring Break on March 26, while private colleges begin a week later on April 2.
Traveling during this time means long airport security lines and cluttered beach-side streets. But it’s totally worth it once you have the warm sand between your toes and a cold beer in your hands. Before you’re ready for all that, you need to overcome the dreaded task of packing your suitcase (and trying not to forget any must-haves). We suggest planning your outfits and looking to our ideas of perfect Spring Break attire.

From the capes and crop tops to the overalls and Birkenstocks, last year was a whirlwind of trend-worthy moments for women’s fashion. Blogger Katie of the Aisle of Style rated the best (and worst) trends of 2014, and we think she was totally on-point. Take a look for yourself. In particular, we simply cannot get enough normcore, either. Unpretentious, clean clothing that’s heavy on sneakers, hoodies, and chinos? What’s not to like? And we love it even more because it’s a unisex trend.
As for the other common men’s styles of last year, we created a quick rundown to recap the highlights:
Sophisticated boots // Spice up a refined work look with a pair of rugged leather boots. Not only will you get around town safer (hello, sturdy tread), but you’ll also stand out from the pack of shiny loafers and standard oxfords. Win-win.
