Taylor Swift is the spokeswoman for the Spring 2015 Keds campaign, and we think the brand couldn’t have chosen a better fit. She never goes out of style, and neither do these cute little canvas sneakers that have been in fashion since the 1950s. So we started thinking, what if Taylor paired her impeccable daily street style with these classic plimsolls all the time? It became clear, you can style Keds with literally any outfit and still look chic.
Champion Basics in Dark Grey
The verdict: Taylor may have chosen the wrong shoes for the occasion here. Climbing on mossy rocks in heels? We’ll opt for Keds any day of the week. Plus, the grey classics would look oh-so-cute in coordination with her sporty Bill Murray sweater.
How you should style them: Slip into your bathing suit and your fave pair of Keds on a lazy Saturday morning. Layer a comfy sweatshirt and skater skirt on top and start heading for the beach. With the ocean breeze in your hair and cushioned soles at your feet, you just might feel up for a dip in the water.
You either love the normcore trend or you hate it, but no one can deny its presence. Socks and sandals are no longer just for middle-aged dads and out-of-touch aunties. They’re chic, comfortable, and surprisingly alluring.
During the Spring 2015 Fashion Week, high-profile fashion shows like Rochas, Hunter Original, and Prada sent models down the runway sporting socks with heels and open-toed shoes. It’s an endearing alternative to the cold-weather uniform of tights or pants, especially when it seems like winter will never go away.

Go casual but chic. Buckled booties with sheer polka dot tights and a coordinating skirt-blazer set, topped off with a beret and roomy purse. Or try pointed booties with a button-down suede miniskirt and a slim-fit turtleneck. Subtle flirtation at its best. Continue reading
Know the difference between loose and baggy. Looser fits are comfortable, but baggy just looks messy. As comfortable as they may be, fight the urge to wear sweatpants! Opt for jeans with a loose fit instead. Being comfortable is all about fit, even in your lazy weekend clothing! Tailor your jeans and get rid of anything you’ve outgrown.
Worn sneakers are comfortable. However, if they have holes or tears, it’s time that they retire!
