In its first-ever fashion trend report, Google is sharing data on what people are searching for when it comes to clothing. Particularly, three trends are seeing “sustained growth,” meaning the trend has been receiving steady growth over the past few years, and it’s just about to take off.

The toilet is responsible for up to 30 percent of the home’s total water usage. Take a couple simple steps toward wasting less water:
- Test for leaks by adding a few drops of food coloring to the tank, then waiting to see if it appears in the bowl without flushing the toilet. If there’s a leak, flappers are inexpensive and easy to replace without tools.
- Create your own toilet dam by filling plastic bottles with sand so that they remain at the bottom of the tank. The bottles will displace water that would have otherwise filled the tank so that the toilet uses less water each time it’s flushed.
Weekend Two of Coachella has officially come to a close. While everyone is still buzzing about Nicki Minaj’s surprise appearance during Drake’s set, we’re taking a look back at the glorious festival fashion that took place over the past two weeks. From floral maxis to super short denim cutoffs, we saw our fair share of modern day hippie couture. And let’s just say some executed the tousled hair-fringed everything combo more effortlessly than others.
We’re talking street style looks that are completely unique. It’s these outfits from the music festival scene that we’re taking inspiration from and incorporating into our spring wardrobes. We could use a dose of boho magic in our lives.
On paper, this look shouldn’t work: Jean bermuda shorts, a triangle bikini top under a suede vest, and snakeskin booties. But it’s her relaxed sort of approach that makes us want to spring for a pair of distressed boyfriend shorts for our spring wardrobes. Possessing an edgy statement necklace is next on our to-do list. As always, denim is a huge summer staple, but this time, the light washes and looser fits are taking over. But don’t choose a wash that’s too light or you risk losing your casual-cool appeal. A good medium-light tone should fit the bill. Yes, you’re paying for a look that’s broken-in and faded, but it’s worth it when the lightweight feel is buttery soft against your skin. Besides, denim is one thing you can splurge on without feeling guilty. Opt for the higher-end brands like 7 For All Mankind or Diesel for jeans that are built to last more than one season. If you’re really feeling the trend, try doubling up on denim. Pair a washed denim jacket with your favorite distressed jeans, broken up with a plain tee and a pair of polished leather oxfords.

It’s no secret, 90s fashion trends have seen a revival in recent years. But we’re taking a look at a timeless pair of sneakers that never really needed a revival in the first place because they never went out of style. It’s the Keds Champion Originals in white.
In this throwback Thursday, we’re referring to some of our favorite female movie and TV actresses. These ladies style their Keds a variety of ways, from simple to cute and playful. You decide which look is for you.

With only two full days until the festival, the Coachella gods are cutting it close, but the set times and stages have just been released for Weekend One!
Taylor Swift is the spokeswoman for the Spring 2015 Keds campaign, and we think the brand couldn’t have chosen a better fit. She never goes out of style, and neither do these cute little canvas sneakers that have been in fashion since the 1950s. So we started thinking, what if Taylor paired her impeccable daily street style with these classic plimsolls all the time? It became clear, you can style Keds with literally any outfit and still look chic.
Champion Basics in Dark Grey
The verdict: Taylor may have chosen the wrong shoes for the occasion here. Climbing on mossy rocks in heels? We’ll opt for Keds any day of the week. Plus, the grey classics would look oh-so-cute in coordination with her sporty Bill Murray sweater.
How you should style them: Slip into your bathing suit and your fave pair of Keds on a lazy Saturday morning. Layer a comfy sweatshirt and skater skirt on top and start heading for the beach. With the ocean breeze in your hair and cushioned soles at your feet, you just might feel up for a dip in the water.
